Charlie was very understanding of the students busy schedule and was flexible to accommodate us. He knew the material and experiments well enough to tell us what we needed to know and what we didn't. Charlie's an awesome TA.

He worked well with my difficult schedule and I was very appreciative. He was also helpful answering questions but he also made me think.

Charlie worked to make the class compatible w/ the students' schedule. Extra benefits allowed grades to be check easily and accurately.

Charlie is a caring TA. He really cares about the students' progress.

He was very accomodating to the conflicting schedules.

Very good TA. Liked the handouts for the chapters, helpful for the exams. Also like the early quit times!

Charlie is very organized and presents materials clearly. Handouts are very helpful. Great quizzes and exam prep. Helpful emails. Talk a bit louder.

You are a super TA! The website thing is a really great idea...very helpful. You don't act like this class has to be our life and you give us chances to make stuff up; which is great.

Charles has a great understanding of Physics that helps to encourage studying. If I had him last year I would done much better in 103. Very practical about the students approach to physics.

I thought that you were awful the first week because you were full of yourself! I think you talk down to students because you often say how easy it is-we wouldn't be asking or getting it wrong if it was easy to us! However, I think you have done an excellent job with the discussion. The review sheets and quizzes and group work help a lot. Labs...well you know. Anyway, 100% better than my TA in 103.

Charlie is the best TA I've had on campus yet!! He explained the material one hundred times better than the actual professors of Physics 104. He was good at helping us understand w/o just giving us the answers.

Review sheets were helpful, but squinting at the small print gave me a headache. Referring to stuff incessantly as "so easy" discourages questions. Your scenes of humor is refreshing, but perhaps ill taken. You're a cool TA.

I think that Charlie did a great job. He was helpful in discussion, on the exams and in lab.

Charlie is a very good TA. He knows his stuff, of course, being that he never hesitates to point out how well he knows the stuff and how little we know. Charlie could be mean sometimes, so mean in fact, I often found myself crying myself to sleep.

Handouts are very helpful. Very good at explaining problems in discussion and lab.

The handouts you give us help a lot, working in groups during discussion also makes the problems more interesting.

He does a very good job in discussions, in terms of having us work in groups on a set of problems. Interested in teaching ideas in addition to the "Plug and Chug" method. Review sheets are awesome (even though you can't read them very well.)

Overall, you were a good physics TA. The review sheets you made about each chapter were helpful.

Then a student asks you a question, don't say "oh, that's easy." It makes him or her feal stupid. Sometimes it sounds like you are annoyed with us asking questions.

Charlie seemed to be relatively unenthused to be a TA for 104 for yet another semester. However, he sucked it up and did a good job clearly explaining main topics and helping us prepare for exams. Way to go Charlie. Two thumbs up!

Charlie helps us more clearly understand the material. I have found the lectures to be useless in understanding the material, and Charlie understands many students feel this way, so he helps us learn the basic material that should be effectively presented in class but is not.

Charles was by far the best TA I've had for a science class on thies campus. He was always laid back enough to keep learning this semester easy and fun. My grades have never been better in Physics. In fact, I think Charlie should be elevated to God-hood status. He was always a bright spot on my Wednesday afternoon in lab. Flowers grew where his feet had trod and his breath always smelled good. Keep up the excellent work and spiffy attitude. You're my hero Charlie. Seriously. Thank you.

Charlie is very good at summing up the topics covered in the chapter during discussions. He takes time to make review sheets which is nice. But he does not have the best attitude. Sometimes he seems unreceptive to questions and it can be intimidating. But he is pretty cool otherwise.

Make sure you don't mumble. Could be more eager to help during TA consultation hours. Overall, you've been a great TA and I have learned a lot. Thank you.

You try to make things interesting even though they aren't. The review sheets you made were helpful. Office hours are also helpful. You told me to write on here so I hope this is good enough. I couldn't think of anything really wonderful to say.

I though that Charlie was an excellent TA. He really made the course worthwhile.

Charlie did a good job this summer. I am glad I had him. Good luck in all you do Charlie!

I appreciate Charlie's leniancy towards lab and homework. I'm glad that he's not so picky. He smiles a lot.

With such a variety of clothing, prolific emails (w/ a touch of insanity), creative web addresses and random interjections of laughter at physics humor (if there exists such a phenomena). Charlie was an okay TA. Good review sheets. Good presentation of course material-lack of enthusiasm (but I guess that's understandable).

The only major problem I have is the time it takes Charlie to get homework back to us, my TA last semester got it back the day after, that was nice. I really like the discussion. Charlie does well w/ explaining the chapters and having problems for us to work on together during class - very helpful.

I though the review sheets were helpful and the discussion quizzes were too tricky. Also, I was disappointed that Charlit didn't know our names, it makes Physics 104 all the more impersonal. Otherwise, Charlie was a great TA.

Has poor attitude toward teaching. Said he was bored with teaching this class. Don't go into teaching.

I'm pretty indifferent toward most TAs.

Charles has a fun disposition and attitude toward the material. It definitely helps when the material is boring or difficult.

Charlie- You are very sarcastic, but I think it is hilarious. I think you relate students well, yeah...

Your teaching style is very effective for the way I learn. You move though the stuff quickly and give us exactly what we need to know. I like those little quizzes in discussion...they help. Your discussion makes it possible for me not to have to attend lectures.
